Have you Met ALICE?
A United Way Lunch & Learn on the realities shaping our workforce and community
What happens when working full-time still is not enough? Across the Chattahoochee Valley, many households are making difficult tradeoffs between housing, childcare, transportation, food, and healthcare while continuing to work every day. These pressures affect workforce retention, employee wellbeing, volunteer engagement, service demand, and the overall health of our community.
Join United Way’s Emerging Leaders United and Women United for an interactive Lunch & Learn exploring ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) and what local data reveals about the experiences of working households in our region. We will explore what these realities mean for employers, nonprofits, and community partners and how a deeper understanding of ALICE can help strengthen workplaces, programs, and community impact.
