A Recovery Program in Columbus, GA Creates New Beginnings

A recovery program can offer more than a path to sobriety. It can provide the stability, support, and encouragement people need to rebuild every part of their lives.

When Nicole entered The House of T.I.M.E.‘s recovery program, she was searching for a fresh start. She wanted to build a healthier future, regain stability, and reconnect with the people who mattered most.

As a funded Community Investment partner of United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley, The House of T.I.M.E. provides comprehensive recovery services that address the whole person. Participants receive safe housing, recovery support, mental health services, life skills training, employment readiness, case management, and peer support designed to help them build lasting independence.

With consistent encouragement and accountability, Nicole committed herself to the work of recovery. Along the way, she developed healthy coping skills, secured stable employment, and began setting goals for independent living and rebuilding family relationships.

Recovery Builds Hope for the Future

The recovery program helped Nicole build stability and discover confidence in what was possible.

Today, she is living independently, maintaining steady employment, and has earned multiple raises and increased responsibilities at work through her dedication and strong work ethic. She is rebuilding relationships with her children and continuing toward her goal of family reunification.

Reflecting on her journey, Nicole shared:

“I can do this because I’m worthy, and so are my kids.”

Her story is a reminder that recovery is about more than overcoming challenges. It’s about creating opportunities for a healthier, more hopeful future.
